Last Basketball Game

Well.  The Green Warriors had a perfect season.  It was fun and we learned a lot, but we never won a game. 

Coach Brooks named Will the defensive specialist of the team, though.  Look at that hustle!

And he is all over these kids, blocking their shots and passes.

He got a medal and goes to baseball practice tonight.  He cannot wait for baseball.  

Painting the Snow

Hopefully, the snow is leaving for good after this weekend, but before it does, we decided to paint it.  

We loaded up some squirt bottles with liquid water colors and squirted to our hearts' contents.

They loved it.

Both practices were canceled today, which was fine because Mom finally got a run in at the Y and we finally got some time just having fun.  Everyone has had a therapy appointment or class this week, so it has been emotionally draining.  

Will wanted to create an injury.

When the colors were all gone, Mom headed inside to clean and the kids came in a while later, super excited to share what the made together.  TOGETHER!!  

Snow Day # 987

They cancelled school yesterday at 6pm for today.  It started snowing at 1:30pm and it was insane!  It had been raining and then hailing and then sleeting and then suddenly, intense snow.  Blinding snow for hours.  

We went out to play for a while and sled and Dad came with us!  It was really exciting for the kids to have Dad out there playing with us.  

Plus, Mom can take better pictures if someone else is pushing the kids down the hill.

Mr. Athlete has no trouble snow boarding.

Will fell face first in the snow and lost a glove.  While we were inside cleaning him up, Kylie hopped aboard the snowboard.  We found her about to go down the hill alone when we came out.  Fearless.

We had a fun snow day, playing basketball in the basement, playing in the snow, watching a movie and doing school work sent home by Will's school in anticipation of these snow days.  Another snow day tomorrow and probably something on Monday too.  Sigh.  Baseball practice is supposed to start Saturday morning at 9am.
