Lacrosse Camp

Will went to 2 weeks of swim camp through the same coaches that Kylie sees every week.  That ended last week and was so successful for him, giving him more confidence and more skills in deeper water.  He mastered the streamline back kick, which was very difficult for him.

This week, he went to lacrosse camp for 3 evenings.  The weather was perfect for lacrosse camp, being in the 70s every evening and not humid.

I don't know why he looks so big now.

He learned a lot about lacrosse and how to handle the stick and the ball and to pass, catch, cradle and run.

For the last class, they played a scrimmage at the end and Will actually scored!

That's the shot that scored!

He had fun learning a new sport, but had trouble throwing the ball overhead as he kept changing to a baseball swing instead.  Baseball starts in 3 weeks.

At the Fair

On Monday, we went to the annual fair.  Mom's camera stopped working with the normal lens, just one day after the van died and needed to be fixed.  Sigh.  We put all that aside and had a fun night out with our friends at the fair.

Mr. Will Thrill Seeker wanted to go on every single fast ride he could.  He referred to the rides he enjoyed just last year as baby rides.  What has happened here?  He's suddenly very big.

You had to be 48" tall for most of the rides.  Will is 48" tall.  Kylie is 42" tall.  Lilly is neither.

We had a great evening, won a prize each and got ice cream at a local place rather than the fair where it was $$$.
