Freestyle with 2 arms
Kylie is LOVING having two arms back, especially in the water. She starts a special swim school next week, where they move along in levels based on skill and not age. This is perfect for her because 3 years old normally do not swim the way she does. She is starting at a level 4, with only one skill to master before moving on to 5. They move the kids on when they complete the skill set, not when a session ends so this set up is perfect for her.
Kindergarten Orientation
Today was the big day! Will met his teacher, dropped off his supplies and toured his new classroom. He wasn't feeling very well this morning and hardly ate breakfast which was worrisome for someone starting school soon. It's hard to say if it was nerves or the flu vaccine he got on Monday or the staph medicine he is on for the infection he had in a cut on his knee. We went to the doctor after orientation just to make sure he's 100% by Tuesday.
He was cool Mr. Will, though, meeting his teacher and saying hello to classmates. He is SO HAPPY his teacher got the message that he wants to be called Will and not William. Everything was labeled with "Will".
Tuesday is going be a very rough one for Mommy. It's looking like Mommy will be the one being brave and Will is just going to be jumping in with two feet, ready to rock Kindergarten.
Oh, and then there's her. She could have happily stayed in Kindergarten too.

Weekend Photos
All 4 grandparents plus a great Uncle and a great Aunt were here for the weekend party!
We managed to go to the waterpark, have a birthday party, go to Red Robin twice, and visit the farm.
And tonight, Kylie just about collapsed from exhaustion.
There was a shopping trip to Kohl's for some school clothes. and a new doll. and new clothes for the new doll.
Thanks to everyone for visiting and helping us celebrate this amazing 6 year old! Kindergarten next week!

Will's 6-tacular Obstacle Course
The day had finally arrived! All 4 grandparents and one set of great aunt/uncles were here. People from Florida, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Virginia all came to the big race.
The map was printed and the course was marked early in the morning.
The chicken, cake, veggies and fruit were ready to be eaten. And the kids were raring to go!
Once the course had been run, the kids played a bit and then ate lunch and cake.
Her favorite part.
Another fun birthday party in the books!
