Basketball: Game Night

Will did AWESOME in his basketball game tonight!  He seemed to really understand the basics of the game and enjoyed himself a lot.

There are videos, Will is on the green team and wearing black and white shorts.  He is generally the one waving his hands frantically in defense.  He was all over the place on defense!

Happy Birthday, Lilly!

The kids were so excited to go to Lilly's birthday party, they refused to rest or nap in the afternoon despite waking up early and having soccer and Tee-Ball sign ups.  

We had never been to this gymnastics center before and the kids seemed to enjoy it.

(suddenly, Kylie knows almost half her letters and many of the letter sounds as well)

Lilly turned 2 on Monday.

Soccer Star

Saturday morning soccer is still in full swing.  Kylie had a full calendar today, so she wasn't very focused at soccer this morning, but somehow, we survived the class and made it to sign Will up for Spring Little League.

Snowboarding with Will

Will had a snowboard on his Christmas list, but Santa didn't have any room for it in his bag, apparently.  Luckily, Target thinks it's summer time already and everything snow related was marked way down today. (and it's snowing outside!)

Snow Day

Surprise!  We got 2.5" of snow last night and the boy was THRILLED this morning.  He dressed for the snow and informed Kylie and Mom that only one bowl of cereal is allowed when there is snow to play in.

He also rushed his sister into her clothes.

And they both loved it for about 30 minutes.

And then, their differences began to show.  One was born in California and one in Massachusetts and boy, does that show in the cold weather.

We warmed up, did some chores, and then dressed back up to meet our friends for some sledding fun.

And tomorrow is ANOTHER snow day!  (Virginia doesn't handle snow and ice well)
