Thankfully, we returned to our normal routine today after 3 days of Hurricane cabin fever. The kids were raring to go back to the Y this morning and it was Halloween!
Ky spent some time in the nursery before needing a bathroom break and then, instead of going back to the nursery, she joined 3 different preschool classes in P.E. class in the gym.
After that, Mom and Kylie headed into Will's class to have lunch with the Terrific Tigers and participate in Halloween fun!
The class did 3 crafts, had lunch and snacks, and then performed several songs and chants about Halloween.
Back at home, we had rest time and then made hot dog spiders and hot dog mummies for dinner. We also had eyeball grapes and blueberries. It was hard to get the kids focused on eating dinner before the big night out!
On our way out, the van battery give it's last breath, complicating things a bit before trick-or-treating time. Daddy rushed off to fix the problem, making it back in time for trick-or-treating just as we were ready to head out.
The kids got quite a haul and were VERY tired tonight before bed.
