Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

Will loves to look at himself in the mirror. Usually, it's from a distance or when Mom or Dad is holding him, but this morning, he got a chance to play with that handsome guy in the mirror. It's pretty funny to watch him figure out that the kid in the mirror is himself, especially when he tries to grab his relflection's foot and taps his head on the mirror - don't worry, he's a tough guy.

Green Bean Casse-Will

It seems Will has the same love of green beans that his dad has. For his last meal of the day, we strip him down and feed him and then let him feed himself. Even the UPS guy commented the other night, "Is he always in that high chair eating?" Pretty much, yes.

Opening Day

You may have noticed that Will was showing his new skill in some of his Easter pictures. We were saving his debut to coincide with the Red Sox opening day as well as Grandpa Platenik's birthday tomorrow. Will seems to have a natural arm and doesn't mind showing it as he throws just about anything round. His favorite game is to sit on the floor and play pass with his Dad. If the Sox run into any pitching trouble this season, they can call on Will; he's been warming up to be rookie of the year! Happy Birthday Grandpa!!

West Coast Easter

This morning, Will emptied his Easter basket. He found all kinds of goodies in there from his Gram, including two Wally stuffed animals. Then, we went for a hike with Jackson and Erica and played at Jackson's house for a little bit. Will was pretty tired from his morning out and about, so he took it easy for the rest of the day. Happy Easter everyone!

Aunt Jackie's Baby Shower

Will is so excited that he will be getting 2 cousins in 2008!! Aunt Jackie is due April 25th and Aunt Leah is due September 30th! Today, we went to Aunt Jackie's baby shower. Will was happy to see Joey, Uncle Joe and Aunt Jackie again. Uncle Joe and Joey both got haircuts since we saw them last and Joey has gotten so tall! He will make a great big brother, Will tested him out.

Stroller Strides Easter Fun

Will has had quite a busy week this week! On Thursday, he had his first Easter egg hunt at Stroller Strides.

Then, on Friday, he turned 7 months old! He also had an even bigger Easter egg hunt at Stroller Strides in Vista. He had a really fun time finding and playing with the eggs with all of his friends. There was a big celebration after class with treats and games, too.

Practice Makes Perfect

Will has been trying and trying to get his whole body rolled over, but he used to get distracted by his toes and forget about completing the task. On Friday, he figured out what to do with his arm so he can roll over. Today, nothing stops him and it's even hard to lay him down and get the camera going fast enough before he's already rolled over!

Wagon Ride

This morning (very early), Will helped Josh bring the laundry to the laundry room in his wagon. He was so happy to be riding in style that they went for a lap around the park, too. Many people commented on what a lucky and cute boy he was to have such a nice ride.

Clean Your Plate

We've all heard those words before, right? As of right now, we do NOT have to tell Will to finish his food. This morning, he had his first taste of a green veggie. Megan braced herself for that "yuck" face, but, it didn't happen. When all was said and done, Will was not done.

Mom-tertainment

In the mornings, when Megan and Will get ready for their day, Will is incredibly amused as Megan leaves the room and comes back. He spends almost 45 minutes in the morning simply laughing as Megan goes in and out of the room, getting ready for the day. Megan set up the camera this morning to capture how funny Will thinks his mom is.


Now we understand why the Muppet Babies' Nana only had feet and legs.

Saturday Photo Shoot

Yesterday, Will got a new hat at the outlets. Of course, his stylish Dad picked it out for him. We figure it's the perfect golfing hat for when Grandpa Platenik visits. Here's Will modeling his new hat and polo shirt.
