It's been a rough beginning of our trip/move/vacation. We had a lot of trouble getting the insurance switched over to the east coast region so the kids could see a doctor on Monday. Kylie's ears seem to be healing, and clearly her temperament is back to normal.

Will, on the other hand, not so much. The poor kid was only awake for an hour or so when he was put in time out and fell asleep. For 2.5 hours. In his bathing suit.

Mommy spent 6 hours making phone calls (and possibly threatening people) all over the country so the kids could be seen by a doctor here in Connecticut and the insurance would cover it. Two faxes and many, many phone calls later, the final approval went through at 12:15pm. Their appointment was scheduled for 1:30pm. Cutting it a bit close, but now it's antibiotics all around.

Hopefully the medicine will kick in fast and we can resume our summer trip/vacation/move. Mommy has no idea why she bothered to pack all these nice shirts to match the shorts for Will. He doesn't see the need for a shirt or shoes here. He is enjoying the great outdoors and the concept of a yard. One the way to the doctor, he stared, wide-eyed out the window at the trees, fields, farms, and houses and then said, "Mommy you get me trees in my yard at new house
peazz?" So cute.

Will enjoyed his first ice cream
sandwich on Father's Day. He was thirsty afterwards, so he made use of the new squirt guns Gram bought.

Miss Kylie is all smiles all the time. She LOVES her hands, especially chewing on her fist. She has recently learned how to reach out and grab something, which she then promptly puts in her mouth for a taste. She's also started laughing. Which is cute, during the day. When she wakes herself up giggling in the middle of the night, not as cute. She's 11 weeks old today in case you are counting.
