Santa Visit

Thursday, Mom took the kids to the mall to visit Santa.  Will has become a skeptic about magical things this year, so he was convinced we were just visiting a North Pole worker because the real Santa has too much work for mall visits.  

Kylie is going through a phase where she says she is "feeling shy".  (She's NOT shy)  So she acts tentative about things.  She was having trouble visiting with Santa but she did give him a hug and semi-pose for photos. 

Tree Time

This morning, we headed to our favorite farm to cut down our Christmas tree.  The farm just got a Vietnam Era Helicopter that they plan to restore.  The kids and Dad thought that was pretty neat.

Of course, Kylie wanted to see and pet every animal at the farm.  

And Will was a man on a mission to find the perfect tree.

He found it!

And then we let her use a saw!  

After dinner, we decorated the tree.

And set up the train.

Christmas Photo Shoot

Mom and the kids did this a few weeks ago.  We got some great shots, explored a new place, and ate donuts as a reward after.

There was a quite a bit of goofing off at the beginning of the photo shoot.  

Silly poses are permitted after regular ones.

Mom even used the timer to jump in on a few.  They came out pretty good.
