Turkey Trot!

We headed off to our annual Thanksgiving Turkey Trot this morning before the sun even came up!

Grammie and Grandpa even registered to get their own numbers and shirts!

Will did the mile, Kylie did the half mile and Mom did the 5K while Dad ran as the Turkey again with Mr. Bruce.  Grammie and Grandpa both did the 1/2 mile with Kylie, but she left them in the dust.

A Preschool Thanksgiving

On Tuesday, Kylie's class hosted a Thanksgiving feast.  They dressed like pilgrims and served friendship stew and various other goodies.  Then, they changed costumes and performed a pig play.

Kylie has grown a lot taller in the past months and many people have commented on that.  It became obvious to mom at this performance, since last year she was not nearly as tall as those same classmates.

Kylie Swims

Kylie still goes to swim class every Tuesday afternoon.  She also swims with her preschool class on Friday mornings.  She is still a champion swimmer.  

She makes it look effortless and really enjoys everything about being at the pool.  Sometimes, she has trouble listening to her coach when the newer skills are more challenging- she is learning the breaststroke right now and that is a very hard thing for a 4.5 year old to do.
